1. About Stagire

Stagire is a platform that connects professional stage crew members with event organisers. We provide the tools to discover opportunities, apply for roles, and manage event staffing. Stagire does not employ, engage, or contract any crew member or organiser directly.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in your jurisdiction to create an account. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. Platform Role & Limitations

Stagire acts solely as an intermediary to facilitate introductions between crew and organisers. We do not verify the credentials, qualifications, licences, or identity of any user beyond the registration details provided. It is each party's responsibility to conduct their own due diligence before entering into any working arrangement.

4. Payments & Compensation

All monetary transactions, compensation agreements, and payment arrangements are conducted entirely outside the Stagire platform, directly between the crew member and the event organiser. Stagire is not a party to any financial agreement, does not process payments, and accepts no liability for unpaid wages, disputed compensation, or any financial loss arising from arrangements made through the platform.

5. Event Cancellations & No-Shows

Stagire bears no responsibility for event cancellations, postponements, or changes made by organisers, nor for crew members failing to attend or fulfil a confirmed role. Any consequences arising from such situations — including financial loss, reputational damage, or operational disruption — are solely the concern of the parties involved. Users are encouraged to establish clear agreements directly with each other regarding cancellation policies and expectations.

6. User Conduct

You agree to use Stagire in good faith and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not post false information, misrepresent your qualifications, harass other users, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Stagire reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms.

7. Ratings & Reviews

The ratings and reviews system is provided to help build trust within the community. Ratings must be honest and based on genuine experience. Stagire does not guarantee the accuracy of any rating and is not responsible for any decisions made based on them.

8. Personal Data

By creating an account you agree to the collection and processing of your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo for the purpose of operating the platform. Your contact details (name, email, phone) are visible to other users you interact with through the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.

9. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications and save a map region, Stagire may send you notifications about new events posted in that area. You can withdraw consent at any time by removing your saved region or disabling notifications in your device settings.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Stagire is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stagire and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lithuania.
